Time Management

I haven’t really been posting on anything other than for my design work. I really need to post more, after all this is a blog.

I am starting to track my time each day. I’ve been up for 9 hours yet I have accomplished nothing. Well I did play with Liam for a little while. He turned 4 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIAM!!!! We gave him Henry (from Thomas the Train) so he and I set up his tracks so he could play. He is still playing with Henry as I type. Liam is also sick today, actually we are all sick. He was suppose to start his new preschool today. Actually I think I don’t want him to go to that preschool anyway. I really do not like it. It doesn’t look friendly at all, very impersonal. I have never heard of having to bring your own box of tissues and a container of bleach wipes to school. I typically do not let my kids use bleach wipes because they can make you sick if not used properly. Plus I rather let my kids get colds, they build up their immunities. I never got sick as a child and now I am always sick.

Casey is currently crying. She is teething and nothing I have tried seems to work. She doesn’t have control of her hands yet (after all she’s 3-months) so teethers don’t work so well. She has been able to put her hand in her mouth but that usually causes her to spit up.

I think I may spend too much time on Facebook. I am trying to use this site, Rescue Time, to find out exactly where I am spending my time. I am hoping it says I work too much ;) But it will probably say I procratinate too much.

Born on May 18, 2009 at 3:30am weighing 7lbs 2oz and measuring 21in. She couldn’t even wait until we got to the birth center and was born at home with the help of paramedics and my midwife (who arrived just in time).

Still Pregnant…

I really wish this baby would come out! I know I haven’t reached my due date yet but I have been having sporadic contractions for over a month now! I just want to get it over with and meet my little girl or boy. Liam has been great until the past two weeks. Now he is constantly acting out. He was an very easy pregnancy, birth and baby. I don’t think this baby is going to be as easy :( . Hopefully once the baby is born Liam will start behaving. I am hoping he will want to be the big brother and help out. Too bad potty training has been very unsuccessfull so far. :(

Well I have got to go to my prenatal appointment. They are weekly now (I only have 10 days until my due date). I will post when the baby is born.

this winter has been bad for me. I keep getting sick! I miss being online but now I feel I might be sick! Can’t even read my emails. RIght now I have over 3,000 unread emails, most of it is newsletters or spam. I will be very busy after the baby is born, not just taking care of my new child (and my son) but getting through all those emails!

I Won’t Be Blogging Much

I had hope that using my computer while I am pregnant wouldn’t bother me so much, but it does. I get dizzy and sometime feel physically uncomfortable when using a computer. I hope to get online as much as I can tolorate. I will defiantly be online once a week for a quick check on everything.

I haven’t been online for the past 6 weeks due to morning sickness which I get 24/7 and not just in the morning. But now I am over that, although I now have a respiratory illness and it is causing problems with my asthma, so I have been resting as much as my energetic 3 year-old will allow me. Otherwise my pregnancy is going well. I got to hear my baby’s heart beat for the first time the day before my birthday :)

I will try to update this blog each time I go online.

I’m Pregnant!

I just found out I am pregnant! I am so excited. We have been wanting another baby, but with my husband having been unemployed and then the move, it was put off. We decided to try after we moved and now I am pregnant! Perfect timing! And this time I get to be with my family, instead of half way around the planet! (I was living in Japan when my son was born). Although my dad is moving to St. Thomas this weekend, so he will be missing out on this birth too, unless he comes for an extended stay around my due date.

Speaking of my due date, it’s May 19, 2009. There are two other people in my extended family who have birthday’s in May. My husband’s grandmother’s birthday is May 7 and my brother-in-law’s wife, Kelly’s birthday is May 14. Now my child just has to be born on May 21 to complete the 7 days apart.

I really hope I have a girl. I love my son, but I would like to have a girl to be able to share my hobbies with. Although I do plan to teach Liam scrapbooking and other crafts. He will also know how to sew, even if it’s just stitching a tear or re-attaching a button.

So far my pregnancy has been very different than with my son. Before I knew I was pregnant immediately. There were defiant signs. This time there really isn’t any signs except the missing period and the positive pregnancy test. Also I am not nauseous. With my son I couldn’t even keep water down. This time all I want to do is eat. And if I don’t eat, I feel sick when my stomach is even partly empty. I have been feeling drained, but I am also sick with a bad cold.

Well I hope my pregnancy goes as well as with my son. The last 6 months with him were the best 6 months of my life! Physically, that is. I felt fantastic! I could eat dairy products! I could eat a lot of foods I would normally avoid because they made me ill! I craved cereal (with milk!) and ice cream all the time, two foods that would have made me sick. Even my depression didn’t bother me! I had felt healthier than I had ever felt before! I would love to feel that way again. Also the pregnancy had changed my metabolism so much, that after I gave birth my weight was 120lbs! I was 150lbs before I got pregnant. That was my weight when I graduated high school and collage! And now I never weigh more than 125lbs and that is with me not dieting. I just eat what I want. That does tend to be healthier choices, but I still eat a dozen or more Hershey Kisses in a day, and Oreos cookies (which I have started craving?). Mostly I eat smaller portions thoughout the day. I have healthy snacks with my son, too. So I eat more often, but less each time. I hope this new pregnancy won’t be messing with that.

Moving Stats

I will be moving hopefully on Thurday. We will be leaving at night and I will have to do my first 12 hours drive on highway at night. I don’t do good on long drives. I hate driving on the highway. And most of all I hate driving at night. But I would rather do those last two than deal with my screaming son and lots of traffic during the day! So night time we will drive. I am making my husband take the cats in his car. I can’t stand the smell, it acts up my allergies after a while (small area) and I don’t want to deal with my son and two cats. I am not even sure I would be able to fit them all in my backseat anyways.

Here are some of my moving stats (includes current move):

  • Total Year Alive: 28
  • Total Moves: 24
  • Longest Time Without A Move: 8 years
  • Shortest Time Without A Move: 2 Months
  • Total Houses: 6
  • Total Apartments: 18
  • Moves with my Son: 3
  • Longest Distance Move: New Hampshire (United States) to Yokota Air Force Base (Japan)
  • Shortest Distance Moved: One floor down.

BTW I still check my sites and email everyday. So please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email if you need to contact me. Please feel free to contact me if you have a questions or comments. You can use my Contact Me form or post a comment on this post as a means of contact me.

We arrived home at 9am this morning! It has been a very long day. I am glad and sad about being home. I loved visiting all my family but it was very tiring doing so and taking care of a toddler.

I am way behind on my work. I have layouts I have to do for RAKScraps, my challenges and for Kristy Valshan. I have kits to make for ScrapDish. I still have yet to take all the photos off my camera and upload them to Kodak. Plus I have fallen behind on my posting here. I hope to catch up soon including posting new feature kits. I have a lot of plans for the next months and will be very busy!

Busy

I have been so busy for the past week that I really didn’t have a lot of time to go online. My son can now open his own toy store with all the toys he received and we told everyone not to buy him toys because he already had too many that we have no place to put them! I thought that would reduce the amount of toys received (I knew that they would buy him toys anyway) but he got more toys this year then the last two years combined! I guess that is because my family hasn’t seen him since he was 11 months old (now he is 28 months). I just hope we can fit it all in the car!
